At Pawfect HQ, our guardian dog program is designed to give our breeding dogs the very best life possible — as cherished family pets — while allowing us to continue producing beautiful, healthy puppies from exceptional bloodlines.
We are always looking for loving, committed families who would like to become part of our extended Pawfect HQ family through our Guardian Program.
What is a Guardian Home?
A guardian home is a carefully selected family who welcomes one of our pick-of-the-litter puppies into their home as their own pet. The dog lives full-time with the guardian family, enjoying a normal, loved, spoilt family life — not in kennels.
While the dog remains part of our breeding program for a set period of time, they are first and foremost your family companion.
Whats Included?
When you become a guardian family, we provide:
- A top-quality puppy from our breeding lines
- All breeding-related health testing
- All breeding-related veterinary expenses
- Ongoing support and guidance from our team
- Professional mentoring throughout the entire process
Your responsibilities as a guardian family include:
- Providing a safe, loving, indoor home
- Feeding a high-quality diet
- Keeping the dog in excellent health and condition
- Maintaining basic training and socialisation
- Keeping us informed about health or behavioural changes
- Being available when required for health testing or breeding commitments
How it Works?
For our females, they will return to us for short periods when being bred and when raising their puppies. After completing their breeding career, they are desexed at our expense and remain permanently with their guardian family as a much-loved pet.
For our males, they stay in their guardian home full-time and only come to us for short, scheduled periods when required.
Our breeding dogs are never overbred, and their health and wellbeing always come first.

Guardian homes allow our dogs to grow up in real family environments, surrounded by love, routine, and everyday experiences. This helps ensure we are raising confident, well-socialised dogs with beautiful temperaments — something we value deeply in our breeding program.
It also allows us to continue improving and strengthening our bloodlines responsibly, without keeping large numbers of dogs on-site.
